The experience with Raszl from start to finish was excellent! Kim was so easy to work with and the selection process was very straightforward. Ray did a fantastic job with the construction of the pool. From what I've been able to gather, Raszl is the only company in the area whose principal owner is actually the same person who is in the hole, installing plumbing, making sure everything is PERFECT with the steel, the shell, interior coating, placement of tiles, etc. Could not be happier with the way the pool came out. Everyone who comes to the house comments on how beautiful it is.

Since our pool was built in 1978 we did some research and visited three pools completed by Raszl. We targeted those pools that were older and had challenges, leaks, lots of demo required, etc. We had a massive leak and the surface had a lot of micro cracks with a ton of bleached out areas. Previous refinishes had almost covered the spa jets and the surfaces bulged around the lights and steps. Ray's crews came in, chipped away all the hollow spaces, removed the older tiles, sealed the pool, put an under layer on and then the final mating. Ray explained every step in the process very thoroughly and he was very good at giving schedule estimates. They were filling the pool eight work days after they started. The pool systems worked perfect, the leaks were fixed and the color was exactly what we had asked for.

The old saying is true..."you get what you pay for"..., and even though we did pay a little more vs. other builders, we are extremely happy that we used Raszl for our backyard renovation project to add a spa to our existing pool, plus expand our deck area and screen. This renovation was not a simple job, but the results were beautiful, on-time and a great value.
Ray is very hands-on, knowledgeable, conscientious and honest. No shortcuts... do it right. And, he was constantly on top of the job to make sure that work was proceeding well with his core group of direct employees, including doing some of the work himself. I had heard horror stories about other builders subbing the work out to other contractors, never to be seen again. But, not the case with Raszl, plus Kim did an excellent job to help us out originally with our design, color and style choices, and then with her follow up to make sure that all was proceeding OK, including answering our frequent questions.
I'm a very satisfied Raszl customer and don't hesitate in recommending them for a new or renovation pool/spa project

I would like to take the time to thank you for the great job you did resurfacing my swimming pool. You removed the old tile, and then removed the old pool surface below the old tile so there's a smooth transition from the new pool surface into the new tile. You repeated this process around the existing mosaics, steps, skimmer, and pool lighting. You checked the pool for areas where the old pool surface had separated from the concrete pool shell, and removed that material down to the concrete so the new surface would be in full contact with the pool structure. The new Sunstone Pebble Surface called Cove Blue Pearl is beautiful and a lot smoother to the touch than the old surface that we had in the pool, and my wife loves that because it won't ruin her swim suit when she rubs against it or sits on the steps at the one end of the pool, and as we all know, if the wife is happy, everybody's happy. So at this time I would like to thank all of you at Raszl Pools for the professional way you worked with us, coming out to our home to show us all the selections you have in tiles and surfaces so we could actually see what looks good at our house.

We are very happy that we went with Raszl Pools and Spas. Other pool builders that we looked at have hidden costs that are not part of their pool build proposals. With Raszl they took care of all the costs such as: replacing the grass, final survey and inspection that others make the home owner pay. Another thing that we liked was that they do the little things that benefit the home owner in their pool like a drain in the skimmer that keeps the water from overflowing in a heavy rain when you may not be at home. The real testimony came from the inspector when he mentioned to me that with Raszl he does not have to worry about any shortcuts or poor workmanship in the structure of the pool. Another is that the owner (Ray Raszl) is hands on with the building process, which gives me peace of mind. Kim Raszl was great with the presentation of pool options available to us on her laptop. It helped us pick out the design and she brought about 25 different tile selections for us to look at that helped match colors. They have been in the business of building pools for over 14 years and the experience showed in the final product.

From the time we first met both of you for the initial design, you were very professional and accommodating with our requests. You walked us through all phases of the project and gave us a realistic date of completion. You did what you said you were going to do when you said you were going to do it.
Too often these days I deal with contractors that make promises and they don’t follow through. When we wanted to make changes throughout the process your team acted as if nothing was a problem. Whatever we wanted, you all smiled and were happy to take care of it.
Your crews were very respectful, a pleasure to work with and cleaned up on a daily basis as much as possible throughout the construction phases. Everyone cared about the work they were doing. They didn’t cut any corners and the end results really show that! It was great to see such owner involvement as well!

Many things impressed me about your company.
The first was when Ray came to give me an estimate about replacing the tile around the pool since there has been a loss of water for a good amount of years. Ray knew what the cause of the water leakage was, and when the tile was removed, there were the cracks as previously explained by Ray.
The process of scheduling the job and ordering the tile went as it should without any delays.
The workman were knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions and as they performed their job of demolition, clean up, and installation of the new tile.
My wife and I are certainly pleased with our “new” pool, and a special thanks to Ray and Kim for their attention to detail.

Just wanted to update you about how well our pool deck is performing. It dries quickly and the puddling was eliminated. You were correct, when there is some dirt (we are still working on having the flat part of the roof replaced) it can either be hosed or lightly brushed off. We couldn't be happier.
